Neuroxyde
Vs. Doomwork
“Jazzy Stuff”
(Original Mix)

In the 2002, year Neuroxyde inaugurates his first professional studio, he switches music productions and gigs on the whole Italian territory. With his actual collaborators administrates different well know Italian labels of the last few years, moving from different styles and genres taking him to the top of the Top sales charts in Europe. In 2007 he wins the silver disk in France with over 100.000 sold singles and more than 400.000 copies all over the globe. Neuroxyde managed six figures in France alone, in 2007. And he’s a skinny Italian kid. Yet despite his chart topping success, his fast-rising record labels Starlight and Neurotraxx, his 10 years in the business, his DJ residencies, and his mass appeal club music, not many people know who Neuroxyde is. With his latest club cut ‘Yebo Yebo’. The new release “Jazzy Stuff” Neuroxyde signed with the collaboration of Doomwork. The production has a particular and innovative sound obsessive style Tech / House with jazz atmosphere, the song is another number 1 on Beatport for download of the Italian label. In addition to single Jazzy Stuff is another single titled “Balkanika” signed not only by Neuroxyde also by David Jones and Andy T.

Weekend Weapons…Luke Slater

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Luke Slater sees the future, and he attempts to paint it through his sonic abstrations that are resolutely pure techno.

Despite coming close to the mainstream (and purist derision) in 2002 with an electronic pop record ‘Alright On Top’, the veteran producer’s 20-year career has been consistent and influential.

His multiple aliases – which includes The 7th Plain, Clementine, L.B. Dub Corp, Offset, and Deputy Dawg – are responsible for some of Britain’s most forward-thinking techno music over the years, and now he’s back doing what he does best: undiluted rhythms and experimental club sounds, under his Planetary Assault Systems moniker.

PAS’ new album ‘Temporary Suspension’ was widely praised when it was released in June on Berlin’s authoritative techno label Osgut Ton. Slater is now, once again, on the front pages of techno where he belongs.

With Slater headlining Berghain in Berlin, Awakenings festival in Amsterdam, and I Love Techno in Belgium in the coming weeks, we decided to ask the pioneer to share some of his current dancefloor destroyers. He gave us 12 bombs straight from the bleeding edge.

Cevin Fisher & Paul Harris – Losing My Mind (David Tort Remix)

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Cevin Fisher
& Paul Harris
“Losing My Mind”
(David Tort Remix)
Simply a bomb! A hypnotic bass, wonderful voice that have been used in an intelligent way, as always David Tort doesn’t let me down this remix works for me everywhere I play it. It combines strong electro sounds with killer house rhythms, but what seems to drives people crazy! People start jumping around like they’re crazee! A real battle horse that shouldn’t be missing.

Sunloverz – Now That We Found Love (Main Mix)

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Sunloverz
“Now That We Found Love”
(Main Mix)
From German label Lickin Records is out the new house remake by Sunloverz of classic “Now That We’ve Found Love” written by Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff and originally recorded by the O’Jays after the great cover by Third World was released in 1978 and later covered by Heavy D & the Boyz in 1991. Remixes of classics need to be done with care and respect and that’s just how Frank Sanders & Bernd Johnen aka SUNLOVERZ has treated one of O’Jays finest moments. Keeping all of the original music in tact this mix just adds slightly chunkier drums whilst opening up the arrangement with more breaks and builds. A great end of night roof raiser!
