Libby (of Lazerbitch) “Burning Bridges

There’s something about Libby, the lead vocalist of Baltimore’s favorite electro pop/disco band known as Lazerbitch. Venturing into the house music scene Libby takes a solo leap on “Burning Bridges” with a retro vocal style that reflects the easy vibe of summertime. The Original mix by San Francisco newcomer on the scene James Brennan transports the listener to the sexy cool atmosphere of cocktails at Buddha Bar or fun in the sun on the beach after a long night at Space in Ibiza. An excellent compliment to the Original mix is Mr. V’s four to the floor in your face peak hour hypnotic nod to “French Kiss”. A bouncy bassline sets the pace as synth stabs provided by William “Reelsoul” Rodriquez give this mix a consistent and driving momentum adding all the right bits of funk, swing and dancefloor frenzy.

For 10 years Iglesias has DJed professionally under her childhood nickname Dinky, and even though times and horizons have changed, and technology and equipment have evolved, the same hunt and the same hunger remains.
