This is the hottest Christmas compilation of the
season. Just in time for Christmas, King Street releases “Christmas in the House” a beautiful, soulful 10 tracks digital-only compilation of original songs written and performed by the King Street and Nite Grooves artists especially for the holidays. There are tracks from Stephanie Cooke, Kenny Bobien, Diviniti, Dj Oji & Joy Cardwell, DJ Spen, Monique Bingham & Frankie Feliciano, Ananda Project and Jihad Muhammad in this package, and there’s also a classic season’s track rewoeked by Eric Kupper, who takes the
popular “Silent night” and turns it into a tasty conga-driven groover enriched with hot Rhodes sounds. Happy Soulful Christmas to

“Alibi” is the first single taken from the Reel People’s new album “Seven ways to wonder”. Featuring Darien on vocals, the
"Original mix" is a warm slice of quality latin-edged soul
track with an infectious jazzy flavour. The remixes come courtesy of Sweden’s hot producer Rasmus Faber, who keeps the origina vibe but adds his personal house touch, providing a solid “RF remix” as well as the beautiful and intense “RaFa epic dub”, a more minimal and uplifting track, combining perfectly, percussions, strings and vocals.

MN2S returns with another hot, soulful release provided by new and rising producer Jose Carretas, who joint forces with vocalist Vanessa Freeman and Kaidi (from
Bugz In The Attic). “Can’t make it” is an infectious soulful track with solid deep beats, enriched with warm keys from Kaidi and the passionate vocal performance of Vanessa Freeman. The package also includes the “Dub mix”, a pumpin’ and groovy affair, with less vocals and more energy, as well as the “Instrumental mix”.

DJ Rico’s new release on Gotta Keep Faith is another brilliant record. “Flying roots jazz” is a perfect combination of deep, funky and jazzy flavours, provided in 3 different but equally strong versions. The “Deep Y’all main mix” is a monster of a track, with pumpin’ deep beats, infectious spoken words vocals and that super cool jazzy saxophone. The “Deep Y’all funky jazzy mix” is a more relaxing, laidback affair, while Mr Fuzz pumps up the energy again with his “Deep dub mix”, another strong combination of deep rhythms and jazzy
elements.

HouseBros returns with another powerful house track titled “Keep on” on Distar. The “Original mix” is
a hot funky house version, with solid beats, hot piano chords, great Philly’s inspired strings, and that infectious vocals performed by Carol Jiani. Paolo Faz delivers a very srong filtered
mix for the soulful/funky floors, while the beautiful “Disco 54 mix” is a full dive into the glorious
"disco sound", reworked with today’s house taste. The package also includes a few remixes from Arduini & Pagani, who adds some electronic instrumentation and delivers a couple of pumpin’ peak-time mixes for the
dancefloor.

“Please don’t call” was one of my favourite tracks from the beautiful Duffnote WMC 2007 sampler, and finally this
awesome gem is released as a single. This great soulful-jazzy track is provided in various hot mixes. The “Soularis Sunsoaked remix” is a solid soulful version in
Soularis classic style, Dolls Combers delivers another intense and impressive soulful remix, while Richard Earnshaw provides two deeper mixes, combining
soild beats with that infectious soulful and jazzy flavour. The awesome “Original jazz mix” and the “Jazz instrumental” are also included in this “top quality” package.
