Soularis are back with another soulful gem on their own Sun Soaked label. “Back together” is a cover of the classic Donny Hataway & Roberta Flack track and is provided in four beautiful mixes featuring Pete Simpson and Mandy Edge on vocals. The “Original mix” is a classic piece of soulful house with a funky edge, it has solid beats, funky bassline, horns and hot guitars, the “SunSoaked mix” is a more laidback and smoother affair, while the “SunSoaked instrumental” strips back the vocals. On the remix duties DJ Meme and MoD joint forces and provides a more pumpin’ version for the dancefloor.

The first single from the latest Osunlade LP is “April”, a beautiful deep and soulful gem. The “Original mix” is an infectious deep track enriched with a percussive groove, synth bass line, soulful elements and the
intense vocal performance of Osunlade himself. The “Mpaka remix” is a deeper and smoother affair, while Abicah Soul provides a deep, groovy and trippy remix. The beautiful “Musapella” is also included in the package.

Spirtitual Blessings returns with another great soulful track for the summer. “Fancy life” is provided in a large number of mixes, including the “Original mix” with its deep influenced vibe and sexy
vocals. The Insatiables delivers a very strong edit, while the “Blessings in the funky mix” is an irresistible and more pumpin’ funky affair. The
other half of the project goes deeper, “Deep in the dubby life mix”
is an infectious music journey enriched with great atmospheric keys, piano and strings, Georg Neufeld provides a deeper and underground version while Grantorino reworks the track adding some electronic elements that perfectly fits with the trippy, deep mood.

For his new release on Grei Matter, Kerri Chandler provides a very hot ep including 2 different but equally strong tracks. “Je t’aime” is a sweet deep track with lovely guitar and infectious vocals, while “All I have is this feeling” is a pumpin’ old school underground cut with a deeper and darker

MoD teams up with Gee K for his new single “Body language”, a cool, uplifting soulful house track provided in several mixes. The “Original mix” is a classic and fresh soulful affair, while Poland Karol XVII & MB Valence delivers a tougher and groovy remix. Deep Josh is responable for a solid funky re-work, whilst Dario D’Attis provides a strong dub mix. A tasty DJ Meme Edit of the Original Mix is also included in the package.

Following the debut single “Breath to fly”, Parisian DJ Pascali is back with another strong funky house groover. “Heaven” is provided in 4 mixes, including the electro influenced Distorded remixes (Vocal, Dub and Radio Cut) that are pumpin’ dancefloor tracks with solid beats, soaring synth sounds, addictive key hooks and dramatic breakdowns. While DJ Pascali himself delivers the “Irresistible mix”, a groovy and soulful flavoured version that will please the funky house

DAVIDSON OSPINA & D’LAYNA “Ladadi (dada)” (Ospina Digital)

Ospina & D’Layna was my favourite track from the Ospina Records WMC Sampler and now this great track is
released as single with addictional mixes from Central Avenue, Enrico Mantini and Clemens Rumpf. The
“Original mix”, that we all already know, is a beautiful piece of uplifting soulful house, Central Avenue provides a more funky infected version, adding wicked piano keys and guitar. The “Enrico Mantini remix” is a pumpin’ dub enriched with soft electronic elements while Clements Rumpf delivers a simple and effective groovy re-work.

OS MALANDROS “Para na wey” (Papa) 

“Para na wey” by Os Malandros is a fresh latin tinged track for the
summer, out on Papa Records. The “Main mix” is a Brzilian infused track with lots of percussions samba style and infectious ethnic vocals. The Realm provides a stripped down dub with less vocals, solid beats, pumpin’ bass and a warm synth line.

This is another great track coming from US USB Records, “Everybody dance” marks the twenty year anniversary of the collaboration of CeCe Rogers and Marshall Jefferson and it is a classic, powerful funky house track enriched by the awesome and inspired vocal performance of CeCe Rogers. Along with the beautiful “Vocal mix” the package also includes a less vocals but strong “Dub mix”.

The new Dario
D’attis
release is another strong funky track featuring Freda Godlett on
vocals. This powerful package is completed with 3 great remixes by MoD as well as 2 useful dj Tool tracks. The
“Original mix” is pure funky delight with an infectious disco vibe, MoD provides 3 hot re-works keeping the funky vibe but warming it all with some of his trademark

“Living my life” was one of my favourite
cuts from Spinna’s album “Intergalactic soul” and finally this beautiful track is out as a single.
“Livin’
my life” sees Spinna team up with New York singer Tricia Angus to deliver a sublime slice of soulful house. The release also includes the fantastic remix of The Realm
(aka Toni Economides and Oli Lazarus) who provides a stunning soulful gem, adding warm Rhodes keys as well as a driven

Ultra Deep Boys deleivers an excellent
and fresh EP for USB Records, “Just Chillin” has an
infectious chill summer feel, the 3 tracks combines perfectly the deep sounds with latin and jazzy elements and the result is simply awesome. “La musica” is a relaxing deep track with a cool spanish guiatr and female latin spoken words, “Mi corazon” is a more pumpin’ deep affair while “Brazilazz” is
a groovy latin thing with a warm percussive groove, great rhodes keys, piano, horns and an infectious male vocal line.

This track is awesome ! “Moment with you” is a beautiful soulful gem featuring the luscious R&B inspired vocals of Regina. The “Original mix” is a classic soulful affair, with solid beats,
hot bassline, piano, soft soul synth and great Rhodes keys. Kiko Navarro provides a more funky and groovy remix, adding a driving percussive groove, brass, choppy keys and beautiful sax

This hot 2001 track from Inaya Day and Native Son receives the Ralf GUM and ChrisP remix treatment for its GoG Music release. The result is an infectious deep release provided in 3 mixes, the
Main remix version is a beautiful combination between the brilliant spiritual vocals of Inaya Day and the deep and electronic influenced sounds created by Ralf Gum & ChrisP. The “Acid soul dub” is simply a reduced, instrumental versions, while a useful beats tool is also included in the package.  (Franco Martinelli) 

BJ Experience’s “I like it like that” is the new release on Pret A Porter Music, the package includes 3 brand new mixes of this awesome track that features the great vocal performance of Jocelyn Brown. The “Mr Bords vouge club mix” is a
cool soulful influenced re-work, it has an infectious uplifting vibe, great piano, hot strings and solid funky beats. The “Intro naked soul Mix2Inside” is a beautiful version that starts with an intense intro, while the B side
includes the funky “Saint Tropez soul mix” and the Original JB Dub mix.  (Franco Martinelli) 

“Seven tracks in seven days” is the new beautiful solo LP of Steve Jones of Dubtribe Sound System on King Street Sounds. This album is an awesome journey into the underground, it sounds deep and hypnotic, dark and intense, a perfect combination of house rhythm, warm deep sounds, electronic elements and spacey pads. All the tracks are very hot
some of my favourite includes the relaxing and intense “We are
free” with its beautiful piano, the solid and trippy “We believe” and the funkly influenced “I

Sergio Flores teams up with Mitomi Tokoto for this new release on Purple Music
Tracks. “Hold on” is a fresh, uplifting and groovy track,
the “Vocal mix” has an irresistible percussive groove, classic piano keys and some wicked electronic elements as well as
a catchy vocal line. The “Chant mix” is a more instrumental affair, while the “Samir Maslo remix” is a deeper and more underground version.  (Franco Martinelli) 

Renaissance provides another quality electronic house
release, “The tucan ep” by Martin Eyerer and Stephan Hinz is a very strong
record. The 3 tracks of the package includes a stunning Nic Fanciulli remix of the title track, a driven and irresistible version for the dancefloor,
as well as the “Tucan” Original mix that is an heavier electronic and darker affair, while “Apollo” is a minimal and nervous track.  (Franco Martinelli)
