JOEY YOUNGMAN ft. Four Feet “Unconditional EP” (Franchise Player)

This new Franchise Player release is very hot, pumpin’ beats, infectious vocals and an intense deep vibe are the main elements of the 3 tracks. “Unconditional” features Four Feet on vocals and is a powerful track with very solid beats, funky bassline, driven groove, wicked keys and an hot synth solo. “UnconDUBtional” is simply an istrumental dub, while “Dilated” is an irresistible bumpin’ and groovy underground track. MUSTAFA “Por causa de voce menina” (Stalwart)

Mustafa is a French dj and producer living in Brazil and his new release on Stalward is a beautiful latin tinged track for the summer. “Por causa de voce menina” is taken from his album, the “Original mix” is a smooth downtempo affair with a fresh and intense Brazilian vibe, the “Mo’ Horozons restyle” is a beautiful sun-injected latin funky-jazz track, while Leo Cuneca provides two hot remixes (Vocal & Dub) adding some deep and soulful sounds as well as solid beats and a proper dancefloor vibe. NATHAN G & RUDY pr. TUFF & MELLO “Be as one” (Transport)

This is another quality release from Transport Recordings, Tuff & Mello’s “Be as one” is a cool track provided in various mixes, the “LuvBug Vocal mix” has solid beats, hot funky guitar and bassline, a catchy riff, great vocals and a warm sax solo. The “LuvBug dub” has the same elements but no vocals. Nathan G provides an awesome remix, adding some cool 70’s disco inspired electronic elements, while the “New Mondo buzz dub” is a powerful pumpin’ affair. (Franco Martinelli)

HIPPIES IN SPACE ft. Lee Anderson “Keepin’ it simple” (White Lotus)

The new White Lotus release is a beautiful jazzy influenced production from Hippies In Space. The “Original mix” is a downtempo jazzy affair with a soft funky edge and the beautiful vocal performace by Lee Anderson, the “Raul Moros remix” is a pumpin’ funky-house track for the dancefloor, while Groove Rebels adds some electronic elements and provides a deeper and darker underground remix. VARIOUS ARTISTS “New York Club Anthem” LP mixed by Hector Fonseca (Star69)

The second release of the “New York Club Anthems” series is mixed by Star 69 Records DJ Hector Fonseca, he provides a very solid set combining electro, tribal and house tracks with a big room feel. Fonseca mixes new song with classic tracks and the result is an irresistible and powerful set. Looking at the tracklist we can find “Beat machine” by DJ Touvan, Starkillers “Scream”, a brand new mix of the NY classic “Drama” by Club 69, Suzanne Palmer’s dancefloor anthem “Free my love”, FC Nond’s “Control” and “My pussy” fron Larry Tee featuring the legendary New York icon Amanda LaPore. WAWA with Jerry Ropero & Michael Simon “Music” (Senorita Music)

WaWa are back with a very strong track for the summer, “Music” is a powerful, uplifting, filtered house track with a catchy singalong vocals and a very fresh balearic vibe. WaWa provides two hot mixes (Vocal and Dub) while the remixes comes from Jerry Ropero who delivers an electro minimal version and Stonebridge who is responsable for a very strong electronic infected peak time dub. D. RAMIREZ & M. KNIGH “Colombian Soul EP” (Toolroom Trax)

D. Ramirez join forces with Mark Knight for the release of this solid EP titled “Colombian Soul”. The title track is a devastating bumpin’ track for the dancefloor, it has powerful beats, a techy edge and an infectious dark vibe, “System” is an irresistible groovy and electronic affair, a deeper and undergrond track, while “System” is a pumpin’ tech banger. VARIOUS ARTISTS “Puka Naka bar lounge club” LP (Diamondhouse)

This hot mixed compilation from Diamondhouse is a very nice double DJ house set collection. Disk one is selected and mixed by Ives Murasca who provides a cool 13 tracks house set, spacing from hot soulful influenced tracks to powerful funky-house cuts, including Grant Nelson’s remix of the classic “Rise up” by Sunkids, as well as recent tracks from Stereo Mutants, Bongoloverz, Christian Hornbostel, 2 Brothers of Soul and others. The Disk 2 is a more pumpin’ and electronic affair, with DJ Electric Blaze mixing up some solid tracks from the likes of Kid Cream, Jeremy Sylvester, Dariush and Montana Express, just to name a few. HERNAN CATTANEO “Sequential Vol.2″ LP (Renaissance)

Renaissence releases the second volume of the “Sequential” series, this time, the double CD is selected and mixed by top South American DJ/producer Hernan Cattaneo. Hernan provides two intense tech influenced trippy sets, essential for the electronic and minimal house fans. Disk one begins on an atmospheric emotive tip, rising toward more peak time tracks, while the disk 2 is a more pumpin’ and sometimes uplifting affair. Many of the 28 tracks deserves a mention, so let me just say, this album reflects very well the best in current electronic sound. (Franco Martinelli)

YASS feat. L T Brown “I go deep” (Grei Matter)

This new release of Yass on Grey Matter is simply fantastic, “I go deep” is a brilliant, solid deep house track enriched by the inspired vocal performance of LT Brown and the cool jazzy piano of Alexandre Destrez. The “Dub mix” is also very hot, it goes even more underground with less vocals, warm organ keys and beautiful piano parts. An “Instrumental mix” is also included in the package. (Franco Martinelli)

CeCe PENISTON “I’m feelin’ u” (Soulfuric)

House legends Ron Carroll and CeCe Peniston joint forces to produce this instant classic house track entitled “I’m feelin’ u”, soon to be release on Soulfuric. The “Original mix” is a classic uplifting house track in perfect Soulfuric style, with great piano, hot strings and the amazing vocal performance of CeCe Peniston. The package also includes some hot remixes, DJ Fudge provides a solid, raw & soulful remix, as well as a deeper and darker dub, while Brian Tappert delivers a pumpin’ and irresistible peak time Dub (Franco Martinelli).

VARIOUS ARTISTS “Vip 02″ LP (Swank)

Swank Recordings is back with the second release of its stellar “Vip” series. This new superb double CD includes beautiful mixed sets from Soul Channel’s Alix Alvarez and City Deep’s Halo, featuring tracks from both respective labels as well as some hot soulful and deep tracks from other big artists. The first CD is selected and mixed by Alix Alavarez who provides a beautiful 12 tracks deep set infected with warm jazzy and soulful elements, including some of his hottest classics, mixed with tracks from Mr V, Arnold Jarvis, Miss Patty and others. The Halo’s set is a more eclectic affair, he spaces from deep and underground tracks to more uplifting and soulful cuts, playing songs from Julius Papp, Franck Roger, Marlon D, Luis Radio & Sabrina Johnson, Panyard, Rocco and of course some of his own tracks too. An essential album of today’s best quality underground music. (Franco Martinelli)

BLACKLIQUID ft. Ne’a Posey “Gotta be me” (Open Bar Music)

Blackliquid teams up with vocalist Ne’a Posey for the release of this brilliant track entitled “Gotta be me” on Open Bar Music. The “BlackLiquid bump mix” is an infectious underground groovy track, while the remixes comes courtesy of Davidson Ospina & Oscar P who delivers a very solid and deeper re-work and Tom Conrad who provides two funky and uplifting versions, adding some fresh piano, rhythm guitar and warm Rhodes. SHIK STYLKO & MATT CASELI “Me sorprendiste” (Soulfuric Trax)

Soulfuric Trax is back in action, the new release is from Shik Stylko & Matt Caselli and is titled “Me sorprendiste”. This fresh latin tinged track is going to be big next summer, the “Original mix” is a solid piano-percussions driven version with a catchy spoken words male vocal line. The “Staffan Thorsell & Georg Neufeld remix” is a brilliant soulful infected laid-back track, while the “Shik Stylko dub” is a powerful peak-time affair with punchy beats and some extra electronic sounds. The package also includes the Franco De Mulero and Ferry B instrumental version as well as the useful “Spoken-apella”. (Franco Martinelli)

MKDV feat. John Crockett “6:56 Forever” (Tony Records)

David “Vibes” Tobon and Master Kev team up with John Crockett for their new release on Tony Records. “6:56 Forever” is a solid and hypnotic deep track enriched by a pumpin’ funky bassline, hot percussions, electronic synth keys and the beautiful John’s wicked steamed organ solo. A useful “6:52 beats” track is also included. (Franco Martinelli)

GAP TOOTH GYPSYS “Yagatsta feel good” (Sun Soaked)

The new Sun Soaked Records release is pure “disco” madness, “Yagatsta feel good” is an irresistible funky track with a powerful 70’s vibe, it has epic strings, funky rhythm guitars, punchy brass section, crunching bass and a very infectious Cojack’s spoken words vocals. The “Eddy G main mix” is a powerful filtered and solid version for the dancefloor, the “Sam’s out in the stick mix” is a classic disco inspired version, while Soularis adds some hot keys and a solid house groove in their brilliant remix. KEMAL ft. Maiya “My faith” (Indeependent)

The second release for Purple Music’s deeper sublabel Indeependent is another powerful deep and underground track from LA based DJ and producer Kemal. This time he teams up with vocalist Maya and the result is a solid deep track built on pumpin’ beats, hot piano chords, infectious underground pads and uplifting vocals. The package also includes an hot less vocals, deeper “Dub mix” and the nice “Reprise mix”. (Franco Martinelli)
